Hey family!! whats up!!
 So I had changes... yes dad change meetings are always on Mondays haha...I was sad to leave turrialba... I loved that area.. but I wanna go back there when we are on our trip!! So now I'm in an area called La Loma. Its kinda in San Jose. I got made Zone Leader, so that's pretty cool. This zone is huge though.. there are 3 districts and like 18 missionaries. My comps name is Elder Velasquez.. he's from Honduras.. he seems really cool! I'm just excited tho to be zone leader. It should be way fun!
 So I got my package! Thanks a lot!! the only thing is when I got it, it was all wet with shampoo!! one of the shampoo bottles exploded and the magazines got soaked and the jerky and stuff.. 2 of the bags of jerky had a ton of mold on them and stuff, but the other 2 were fine, in fact I ate one bag, and shared half of the other with other missionaries and then gave the other half of the bag to President Galvez! Last week President called me in the morning one day and invited me and my comp to lunch at his house, I was way excited. We got there and talked with sister Galvez for a bit waiting for President to get there and then he got there and we ate... the Sister Galvez had made BBQ ribs for us and mashed potatoes and stuff... a HUGE feast!! And we ate lunch with President and Sister Galvez and one of their daughters.. it was really fun!! He invited us there cuz we baptised 2 families that month. It was good to spend some quality time with him before he leaves. The whole time ALL we talked about was hunting... hahah funny huh!! President was so interested and so was his wife, they asked me a bunch of questions about it, it was fun, and I told them that you had sent some Elk Jerky so that they could try it! That's why I gave them a bag of it today at transfers meeting!
  This transfer meeting was really weird today, cuz it is the last one with President Galvez!! It was SOOO awesome!! We watched a video that all the missionaries had made for him saying goodbye and stuff and it was cool. Then he talked about President Wilkinson a little bit and he told us about his family. Then he explained  a ton about his own life and the story of when he received the calling to be the president of the mission 3 years ago! And then their whole family bore their final testimonies and it was sooo cool!! Then their family got in a line in front so that we could go and do a line and say goodbye to every missionary! It was a really cool day.. I'm so sad that he is leaving tho!! The testimonies from Presidents kids were so awesome!! All they talked about was how good of a dad President is and how the mission has changed all of their lives soo much!! It was cool! The new President gets here in like 2 weeks... I don't know if you guys already missed the farewell or not?? cuz he said that the new president enters the MTC this next Saturday or something!! You should find out when it is or if it already happened!
 Mom I'm glad you had such a good birthday!! I love you!! And I bet your talk in church was awesome! Happy FATHERS day yesterday dad!!! I love you a ton!!!
  Hey the catalog that you sent wasn't the right one... it only had like some things that cabelas sells... it didn't have everything! What I wanted was the Master Catalog, that has every little thing that is there at cabelas.. its like as thick as the bible!! You should ask buck what it looks like, cuz when me and him went hunting in Trisha's cousins cabin there was one there and it was huge!! The one that you guys sent didn't even have shotguns or pistols or rifles or archery stuff... nothing haha maybe you could go to cabelas and get that for me please :) Oh and do you know what picture I was talking about in grandmas house? the one with all the fam in the mountains? If you could take that to a copy center and have it photocopied and send it to me by email.. that would be awesome!! :) I really want that picture!!
  So that's good the girls are busy these days!! That's a good thing that efy was strict.. them girls need some structure!! I cant believe majerle is a cheer leader... hahah classic!! that's funny that you thought it was Costa Rica playing there in salt lake mom... haha I cant believe that!
  So in 2 months the deer season starts? how long in the general season?? When are you guys gonna go up there to go spottin? you have to go before the season starts to be able to get ready!! why did you spend money on a smoker when you coulda bought a new bow, or some better binoculars?? You gotta get your priorities straight dad! haha I wanna go on a guided hunt when I get back.. so where do you think we should go? Montana? Colorado? or we could go there in Utah with Mossback Outfitters? I wanna get a trophy elk!!
 Any news on the Costa Rican trip? have you planned it yet?? I haven't written Joe and Lisa or Papa and Nana for forever!! i feel sooooo bad! I don't have time today but next week I'm gonna try and write them!!! Its just 1 hour of writing time is soooo short!!!
  Well that's pretty much all that's goin on here in the mish... gotta send me some more pics and stuff.. Try and get me the pic of the family and grandmas house! And I don't know if you could get the other Catalog from cabelas.. but I would really really really like it! :)

Hola familia!! todo tuanis?  HAPPPPYY BIRTHDAY yesterday MOM!!!! I LOVE YOU!!

  Im doin really well.. here working hard. We babtised a 23 year old last saturday! It was a fun babtism... he is from Nicaragua... im pretty sure that all the people here are from there cuz practically all my recent converts are from there haha classic!! This saturday we should have a family getting babtised... they are all ready and way excited its just were waiting on his divorce papers to get here... last sunday we fasted with them and there kids so that they would get the papers.. so we will see if they can get babtised this week or the next... the only problem is i dont know if im gonna be here in turrialba next week cuz changes are on the 18th... i probably will have changes but i hope not... it could happen that i dont so im praying!! The family that just got babtised a couple weeks ago are really good... the wife just got assigned her companion and stuff to be a visiting teacher, she got assinged to visit teach her mom and another family... but she was soooo excited!! We heard from a member that she was going on and on just about how happy she was to recieve a calling of some sort... cuz shes never felt like she was worth something or had a purpose in life before until she recieved that calling... i was really happy to here how happy the gospel is making her!!

  I dont know where i would be sent to if i have changes... that is gonna be weird.. cuz ill probably go somewhere really really hot and i dont want to! haha Those videos were really sick!! thanks for sending them dad! I dont have very much time today... so i gotta write quick!! but do you know how many days they said it would take for the package to get there? Thanks for the package, i hope i get it soon!! PAPA HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALSO!! I LOVE YOU!

 Well i gotta go really quick... we have to go to san jose cuz were gonna have a conference with two elders of the seventy! Elder Martino, and Elder something i forgot what his name is! but it should be good! love you guys tons! Hey whats up family!!
  So everything is good, im likin the mish and everything!! Today is gonna be fun.. first we played Settler of Catan.. i hadnt played that game for ever, so that was fun, and now we are going to have a conference with the Vice President of Costa Rica, he wants to know more about the missionaries and stuff so hes coming to one of our conferences. It should be pretty cool... it woulda be cooler to have the president herself but oh well!! This next week we will have 2 more babtisms of some young guys.. one of them is like 23 years old, and the other is 19. They are way cool and both of them could end up going on a mission. That would be cool!! The third family that was gonna get babtised just arent ready.. we actually stopped teaching them cuz they just arent gonna progres.. they dont have the desire big enough. But were findin some more people... we should have another family get babtised on the 16th... they are awesome just waiting on their divorce papers of his last marriage so that they can get married and babtised. 
  Thats funny you dont like summer mom... i like it but it would be so much cooler if the summer break was in fallish-winter... so you could get out huntin easier. Thats sick you drew out a deer tag dad!!! im so excited for you!! ugh thats awesome!! bear lake huh? that will be sick with the cabin right there... thats why we need a cabin!! have you guys gone up there yet to spot...? you needa start spottin some deer and the areas that you want to hunt so you can have a good season!! Gotta get on that dad! Is your bow in tune and what not? have you not been shootin lately? Go down to the river bottoms and get your bow sighted in and everything ready!! Dont use my arrows!! Is buck gonna use his Mathews bow or buy a Hoyt? Oh my gosh i wanna go spottin for deer and get ready for the season and stuff.. your so lucky!!! So you can hunt the wasatch also for deer?? that will be way sick!! with a deer and elk tag!! 
  Fetch those girls with their dang boyfriends!!! They never answered me if they at least hunt or fish or somethin!! They gotta find some new ones!! Thats fun you gotta give a talk mom.. you should talk about.... i dont know i cant think of anything right now.. but im sure it will be great!! Gosh ya gotta get that package out... did you get the axe and stuff? I hope it gets here before the 18th.... cuz that will be the last time i go to San Jose for a while.. so make sure you send it today!!! Make sure the bed sheets are the right size.. cuz the beds sheets that we bought when i came to the mission were HUUUGE and way too big!! So you gotta by the smallest size!! I was thinking it also would be cool if you bought some like bed sheets from Cabelas like with deer or elk or Bone Collector brand.. that would be cool,, maybe if you guys havent sent it off yet you guys could go buy that.. haha 
  You hired some more mexicans... thats funny!! That will be cool to expand your business!! How is the biz goin by the way? Holy cow Bindrup is gettin married!!! thats crazy hahah So about the trip after the mish.. you should just schedule it 2 weeks after the 23rd! Because i complete 2 years the 23rd... that is a saturday and usually you come home on a thursday.. so it will be the 28th when i get home at the latest... so put it for like the second week of march (11th or 12th of March). That will be perfect!! Have you guys been looking at some places to go? like Guanacaste or cool places? Is there not like a travel agency that you guys can go so the agent can help you find some cool place here in Costa Rica? That would be good! Whats up with the pictures.. you havent sent any in a while.. or videos? get on that! haha

Hey family,

  how is everyone? im doing great! Im still sick tho.. ive had a cold for like 2 weeks now.. its cuz during the day its really really hot, and then in the evening and night it starts to rain hard and gets colder.. i think thats why im sick.. and i dont like walking around with an umbrella so i get wet a lot. But its all good. About the Axe deorderant... Axe is like the biggest brand of shampoo, spray, and deorderant that there is in the world... im positive that there is some there.. just gotta look harder.. make sure you get the chocolate scent. Look in walmart and stuff!! Also send me the Axe body wash, chocolate also...

 So Saturday we had only 7 out of the 11 people get babtised!! I was sad that the other family didnt get babtised. They seemed ready all week and we talked to them everyday to make sure everything was good and then Saturday we called them like at 1:00(they were suppose to get married and babtised at 5), and the guy didnt seem very excited and it just didnt feel right. So my comp and i decided to pray to see if that family was ready to get babtised or not.. so we prayed and recieved the answer that they werent ready and the other 2 families were ready, so only the 2 families got babtised! It was good tho.. The really really cool family are named Luis and Jenny... they have one son and they are a young couple.. they got babtised and are so awesome! We found them through a recent convert that i babtised like 2 months ago, he gave us the reference to go and teach them and now they are faithful members! The other bigger family are really cool too, they are just a lil wierd tho haha their names are Antonio, Luz, Oscar, Kathia and Xinia. Thats the other family that got babtised... Antonio is the really old guy.. he has 88 years old and can barely walk. He is a cute lil guy and was way excited to get babtised!! While we were babtising him my comp starts to dunk him in the water and i think the old guy got scared and didnt hold his breath.. so we dunked him under and he sucked in some water.. he came up choking and almost drowned... hahaa i  was soo scared so i start hittin his back so the water comes out and he stops choking. i then asked him if he was alright, and he said.... "of course everythings alright", and then he smiled.. ahhah CLassic case of almost drowning a old guy!! But he was really happy after. Then we babtised the rest of the family and everything went well. Then one of the ladies that got babtised after she got changed went back into the bathroom to get something that she left, and she fell!!(she has like 55 years old) SHe FELL!! and broke her fetching arm! it was crazy! so that was the first babtism ive had that has ended with an ambulance pulling out of the chapel! hahhaha but now shes fine... she got home from the hospital saturday night, and went to church sunday morning and was confirmed and everything! BUt it was just a funny night... next time i dont think im gonna babtised old people.. its dangereuos haha

 So last week was the interviews with Pres... they were awesome.. i love that guy! He was so excited that we were gonna have 3 families getting babtised!! He even cried in my interview cuz he was so happy! the fireplace looks awesome!! cant wait to come home and use it... perfect make out spot... ahha psych!!... but seriously!! I loved the videos you sent me... you guys need to send more pics and more videos!!! Clark is the real fisherman then huh? thats cool... you needa start goin up to provo to flyfish dad... you arent really being good at practicing all these things before i get home!! So this week you find out about your tags right? SEND THE PACKAGE TODAY!! FIND THE AXE STUFF!!

 Yeah i hope you guys can meet Pres Galvez one day..i bet hes gonna be a 70 or and apostle, so im sure that he will be in utah one day! THat would be cool for you guys to have him over for dinner one day before i get home and after! Mom thats really cool about your young women, i bet you love teaching girls like that!! I cant believe Majerle will be next... thats so awekward! Majerle did you dump you chump yet? I hope so... does he even hunt or fish?... you cant have a man like that in your like if he doesnt!! Same with you Maddi!!

   Well ima go.. were about to go barbeque some meat in the church and play RIsk or Settlers! :) Love you guys a ton, tell all the relatives i love them a ton, and the friends, and the members in the ward,, and just everyone!

Hey fam! whats up!!
  So im great, just chillin here in the mish, I love it a lot. Today we are going to Guayabo, its the indian ruins here, so that should be cool! We are going with my district and some of the members. It should be fun.
  Thats sick that brennan graduated!! Hes awesome!! This next saturday we were gonna have 13 babtisms... and 3 families. But not very many of them came to church yesterday so some of them are gonna have to wait a week or two. But we do have a babtism of one family this saturday so that should be good!! Hopefully everything goes smoothly! Our district is doing very well also. I think every companionship is gonna babtise a family!!
 Oh thats sick you finally got the jerky done... send it sooon!! make a ton also!!! Try to get it here before the next change meeting... the 18th of June... so i can pick it up then in San Jose. Thanks for that!! Make sure you send all the stuff on the list that i sent lest time!
  We have our interviews with Galvez on wednesday.. that should be good. Im gonna miss him, He is from Guatemala. I dont know what they are gonna do next.. he will probably be an apostle or something like that.
  Thats sick you fixed the scooter dad.. i bet its sick! Thanks for that. I probably am not gonna take that to school mom, that would be awkward. That will be tite dad, the hiking and fishing trip... you need to get in shape for when we are hunting everyday!
 Alright well i gotta bounce... we gotta take the bus to the ruins. But i love you guys a ton. sorry the letter was so short.

Hey family!
How is everyone?? Im doing great! were just sitting here in an internet cafe waiting for the next session of the temple. We were suppose to go at the 9:00 session but we got here a little late so we have to wait until 11:00. Im excited to go in tho! So last night we went and slept in Cartago with the zone leaders so that we didnt have to wake up so early to take the bus from Turrialba, cuz it takes like 3 hours to get to the temple from Turrialba. So we slept there and so that we could play Risk all night also... that was fun! haha I won of course!
  I loved talking to you guys... even tho i was a little trunky right after, it went away thank goodness. It was really good to talk to all you guys, and Majerle and Maddi, and the grandparents and kenzie, and Tyler. I loved it! Majerle thats so cool you are doin Cheer, you are awesome at it i bet!! Are they are gay guys on your team or all they are girls? haha What are you school colors?  What does your boyfriend like to do? Does he hunt? Maddi you are crazy! I loved talking to you! youre awesome! So are you gonna start going shootin and stuff with dad when he goes? hey.... "Haz lo Justo"!!!! thats spanish by the way.
  Why are you guys on a diet? at least you can eat meat!!  You gotta break out the cook book at practice all my favorites! Thats cool that Tyler is in a play, is it for school or for primary? or what? Thats cool that they are from Beaver also, speaking of the Morgensens, have you talk to them? That is so crazy that Erika is getting married this weekend... i remember when we were in Union together. Thats so crazy!! Finally Buck and Trish got home... tell him that the fishing was bad cuz i wasnt there... haha I want a cabin so bad like that!! gotta start savin so we can buy some good property! :)
  So thank you for starting making the Elk jerky... im sooo excited to get some!! Make a ton!!! What is the catalog like? they are two seperate ones or just one big one with ALL the products, like camping, tents, hunting, fishing, clothes, camo, shoes, ALLLLL the products, i know there is one like that cuz ive read it, Its like thicker than the Bible, soo you should probably look for that one cuz its cooler!! The things that i need:
        - Cabelas catalog
        - Bed Sheets
        - Elk Jerky
        - Cologne, I have a bunch of that in my room, just pick two bottles and can send me those.
        - Axe diodorant, i want the chocolate scent, send me like 2-3 of those.
        - Cool nick-nacks
 I havent tried my contacts again, cuz they just didnt work, maybe the perscription is wrong, maybe there is something wrong with my eyes, i dont know exactly. I WANT LASIK! I dont wanna wear glasses cuz to play sports or to hunt, or be in bad weather it just sucks!! So contacts would be better, or surgery. haha Thats so sick BC came and did the windows, he is awesome! That actually would be really fun to go to SUU, i might like that too, look up the info for that also. They really have a Harvest Week?? Yep.. imma go there haha
  So thats cool that minnie almost died. You guys should really buy another bulldog, or a Great Dane... :) that is so crazy the draw is at the end of the month.. i bet you draw out for the sick tag for elk!! What is the area called that we put in for for Bull Elk? I cant believe you wanna change to moose... We can just go to Alaska for Moose, Goats are so sick! That is a huge cat there in the pond of Clark.. i bet it was one of the small ones that we put in and it grew! Have you gone down to the river bottoms lately or no? You gotta start settin up your tree stands and what not down there to get ready for deer season!
  Well i love you guys a ton, oh and were gonna go to Big Bill's Barbeque today... im excited cuz its right next to the temple! Well talk to you next week. Take Care!

Hey family!!

 Im doing so great! how are you guys doing?? thats so sick you guys went down to moab! That always makes me think of Randy and Nanet and the Morgensens. Hows Devin by the way? do you know? When are you guys gonna head down to St Geezy again? are the Hansens still in the st george house? Or have they baught a new one? How is the Kneaders going for them? I miss the Hansens a lot!

 That is really so amazing that the missionaries went to help Joe and Lisa move and stuff, and the members! Did the elders put an appointment with them to start teaching Lisa??? Ugh i always pray for Joe and Lisa so they can become a celetial family! Lisa would be suck a good member, and i always picture Joey being a young mens leader or something! Hows papa and nana, he has a calling right? and nana? I hope they can go to the temple soon!! Thats awesome that jake is doing so well!! and has a hot blondy for a gal! Thats awesome that Chase and Alexa are gonna go to Texas with brock and lins, and joe and lisa... were just gonna have to take a trip there also when i get back to visit all of them!!

  So this sunday is mothers day.... and we get to call!! :) President said it would be easier for you guys to call us! So i was thinking maybe you could call when you guys get home from church, like 2:30 or something? But just to be sure if you guys cant get a hold of me for some reason i will call you at 2:40 if you guys dont call me! Im excited to talk to you guys!!

 So did you hear about the draft dad? did you draw any cool tags??? You need to get out huntin this season man!!! Did you buy the Cabelas catalog? The one i want is the catalog with EVERY product that they sale! Its really thick, and i would love it if you could send that too me asap! I wanna work there soo bad when i get back! Yeah mom thats cool if you start doin that for college, getting the info and stuff, maybe the info for UVU, SLCC, and BYU, that would be sick! So youre using Facebook huh? its so funny when the ticos here say Facebook with their accent.

  So we have 3 families that were are teaching that seem pretty cool, they problem is getting them to church. I think they are just a lil lazy, but we will whip them into shape!! Im pretty sure that at least two of them will get babtised this month, but we will see!! So transfers meeting was today, obviously we didnt have changes, but it was cool to go and see everyone. Oh and guess what.... one of the sisters in my disctrict had changes, and she got her new comp today.. her name is Sister Garcia, and she went to HILLCREST!! crazy huh!! she graduated in 2009, a year before me! She knows a ton of people i do but we never knew eachother cuz she was kinda a choir nerd but she is was cool. Crazy!! she is now in my district haha  I love President Galvez, i swear when he talks it is amazing!! He is so smart and teaches so well! Today before and after the change meeting we played the game RISK. We woke up at 3:30 in the morning to be able to go to Paraiso and play with the disctrict in time before the meeting, and then just barely we played again. haha Classic!

  Thats fun for Buck and Trish to go to oregon! i bet they are having fun!
