Whats up family how is everyone?? 
 I'm doing really well!! just enjoying it here in La Loma. I like this area a lot, it's pretty cool. But i think Turrialba is still my favorite.. we will see what happens with time. That's so sick you guys are planning the trip and everything!! I'm SOOO excited also!! Yeah that sounds good with the 3 days of exploring and 7 days on the beach and playing and stuff!! The places that i would like to revisit are maybe some of my converts in Turrialba and Paraiso, and stuff... i don't know exactly... Turriabla we could just go there for a day... maybe if you get a hotel here in San Jose for the 3 days cuz these places are really close in a car! That is so awesome that all those people want to come!! I'm so excited!!! Yeah a beach house would be really sweet if all of us can live together at the same time!! I don't know about the food though... there is no Costco or Sams club here... just Pricemart... and its like Costco but there are only like 3 here in Costa Rica... so idk if you guys wanna eat out or pay that lady... whatever you guys think... there are little Sodas(restaurants) everywhere that are really good and pure tico food!! Just whatever you guys think would be best!! Those beaches that you said dad, sound good... the paradaiso one is not the same place that i stayed.. Paraiso was my area but its not even close to a beach. But the Beach Flamingo or everyone else sounds really good... I'm sure the agent knows a lot about the beaches, just try and find one with white sand and blue water... haha. If you cant find a really sick beach house you should try and get just a bunch of rooms really close together in a hotel, maybe the Hilton Papagayo or something there in Guanacaste.. But im sure you guys are gonna plan it really well!
  Dad... that is sooo sick you guys are out spotting and stuff!! I'm sooo proud of you!! You better not shoot a 3x3... its gotta be at least a 7x7!!! haha Dude tell Bridger to talk to the guides to get them to give me a job when i get home!!! You gotta talk to him!! I would do anything!! tell him i could be like the grunt worker and work my way up to a guide!! So what about the tree stands? Is it gonna be the rut during the hunting season... how is the weather lookin..? That's so awesome buck is getting into the spirit now... you gotta work hard to be able to see the results and if you wanna tag a monster!!! Dude i was looking in the cabelas catalog that i have right now at the Viper Vortex binoculars... i was thinking the same thing... i even went through all the magazine highlighting all the stuff that i was gonna buy when i get home and i highlighted those!! Buy them quick!!! You gotta spend your money wisely man,, buy the things that you need most importantly... hey you can use my range finder if you want? actually that would be really good!! When are you gonna check the trail cams? when you do you need to send me the pics!! The cabelas bible hasn't gotten here yet... how long did they say it was gonna take?? 
 So yeah we are doing well here in our zone... we should be able to complete the goal.. so we are excited! We should have like 4 families get baptised this next Saturday and last Saturday we had a family get baptised.. and then the 28th we have 3 more families getting baptised! So pray for the zone! Today for pday we went to this store that designs customized tshirts and pretty much anything that we want... for example we are having them make tshirts for the zone that are gonna be so sick looking! Also the guy there has a machine to make missionary tags.. so he is gonna make a ton for all of us.. they are exact replicas of our tags, so we are gonna put like funny names and stuff that we want... mine is gonna say "Elder Pura Vida" and the other one "Elder RAWHIDE", it is gonna be sick! 
  Wow i cant believe i already have 17 months... its going be really fast!! I love the mission a lot and i wanna keep being a missionary and stuff, but i cant wait to get home to see you guys and start my life! it'll be sick!!!

Whats up family!

Im doing great, how are you guys?? So today was pretty fun.. we went to this like recreation place, it was chill cuz it has like ziplines, paintball, obstical courses, 4wheelers, rock wall climing, swimming pools, ping pong, pool tables, horse back riding, and a bunch of other stuff, obviously we couldnt do most of the stuff they had, cuz its against the rules. But we did do the military obstical course and rock wall climing, the other stuff we really exspensive so we didnt do it. But it was pretty fun, we went as a zone, so there was about 16 of us. Some elders didnt go. 
  So how is everything... how is work dad? And mom? Hows summer Majerle and Maddi? Are you getting ready for the hunt in a couple weeks dad? You gotta get out their as much as posible!!! Shoot that bull that bridger took the picture!! Did it still have velvet?? Hey did you guys send my cabelas catalog?? if not... im gonna be really mad!! haha Did you really buy trail cams dad?? So me and Elder Guzman, this kid from texas in my zone, have been talking a lot... he wants to be a fireman, he said they make bank... and it would be fun, but i dont know what their schedule is like... also i wanna know if i could like stuff during the summer in like UVU or Salt Lake Communtiy College, so that i can hunt during the winter.... can you find that out for me please!! 
  Thats so sick that you guys had those two families over for dinner,,, i miss them a ton!! Yeah we gotta get a big huntin trip planned with Mike and stuff for the next hunting season when i get back!! That would be so awesome!! 
 That is so sick that Alex Thompson headed out on his mish!! And that all those people got married already.. thats so crazy!! Who else is on their mish that we know? 
  So my zone is really good, there are some elders that dont work and some that fight with their comps.. but we are handling it, so dont worry!!! We had the interviews with President last thursday... it was soo awesome!! He is such a cool guy!!! I love him!! He is just so down to earth.. we were talking about football for like 10 minutes just chillin and what not.. it was funny.. also the Sister Wilkinson is so hilarious also... she reminds me of you a ton mom!! its crazy!! Its really different with the new president... cuz like when i would talk to President Galvez... i would get so scared and everything... and with President Wilkinson its like talking to another Elder or something just cuz were like good friends and stuff... its funny... i love them both, but they are so diferent!!
  So we are doing really good in the zone right now... we are probably gonna complete our goals for this month and babtise a bunch of families!! :) 
  Well i love you guys a ton!! Make sure you guys sent the cabelas catalog, and try to get the family pic as fast as you can so i can have it hopefully the next time!! :) Get out in the field and hunt dad!!! I love you guys so much!!

What up!!!

  Hey family how are you guys? im doing really well.. liking my area and my comp and my zone... its fun! So today we went to costco and bought some stuff, i bought Mac and cheese, and Peanut Butter and Jelly and some other nick nacks. Then we went and played risk with some of the zone. And thats pretty much all we did,, kinda a boring day! But still fun! 
 So yeah President Wilkinson got here on Friday.. and President Galvez left Saturday afternoon. We have not met him yet, but we have interviews with him on the 5th of July! So that should be really good!! 
 Dad!!!! THAT IS SO AWESOME!! i am so excited for you guys!! Youre gonna tag a huge bull man!!! You have to do everything to tag out man!! You really bought trail cams? that is so sick... finally you are taking this seriously man!! Thats what i like to hear!! Go out and spot as soon as you can!! Get ready for it baby... you got six weeks...!!! IM SOOOO EXCITED!!! Dude that is soo awesome! Where is the private property at? which canyon? UGH i cant wait to get out and hunt... you gotta tag a huge bull just for me!! You gotta get your bow ready and you cant use my arrows tho... go buy some really good ones at Cabelas!! 
    Thats crazy that you got interviewed mom... that will be really cool... did dad not get interviewed?? I bet the bishopbric dinner went really good... thats cool you are getting to use your smoker a lot dad!! Yeah i actually would love some more jerky.. you should try a diferent recipe this time too.. and smoke it obviously. So hey i dont know how well the picture of the family at grandmas house is gonna turn out.. did you not take it to a kinkos and get it scaned to be able to send it? so the quality was better,... or did you just take a pic of it with a cam? Cuz the quality isnt that great... i dont wanna sound annoying but i want it to be good quality so that i can print it out and have it to show to people here!! So if you guys could do that as soon as posible... take all three of the photos(the family with the mountain, the grandkids, and the modern one of the family) to kinkos and make sure its the best quality that you can get it, to send it to me by email.. i would love that!! :):) Thats so sick that the Hunting Bible got there... how long is it gonna take to get here??
  That is crazy that there are so many fires lately... its actually a really good thing for the wild animal population so that there are new shrubs so they can eat and stuff and the population will go up more!!! 
  Thats awesome you guys are startin to get the trip planned... i would like to stay in Guanacaste tho... that seems to be the place where everyone likes... just cuz its right next to the beach... the other resort sounds cool mom, but its kinda in the mountains and not really close to the beach... but idk... whatever you guys think would be better. 
  Well i love you guys a ton!!!! Keep on huntin, and working, and being good in your church calling, and all that good stuff!!! Talk to ya next weeek

Hola family!!
  how is everyone doin? im doing great, we just got out of a sick meeting with president Galvez, it was a Zone Cousel Meeting. All the zone leaders of the whole mission were there, there are 11 zones by the way. And we presented what happened last month, how many babtisms, lessons, new investigators, etc... of all the zones for the month of June. In our zone we only babtized 2 families, 4 men, and 11 people. :( The whole mission only babtised 39 families and 111 people in total for June. It was not a good month!! But the thing is that me and my comp did babtise a family last saturday! :) we also babtised a 21 year old kid.. hes awesome!!! But we are having a lot of challenges in the zone... theres some missionaries that dont want to work and just sit in the house all day.. and some that dont know how to challenge people to get babtised.. and some that dont know how to teach very well.. theres all sorts of things going on, but we got it under control! haha I like being a zone leader a lot! We also presented the new goal for the zone for the month of July, 6 families, 7 men, and 20 babtisms... we are gonna complete it! The new goal for the mission for July is 61 families, 73 men, and 123 babtisms. It should be good. The new President comes next week... crazy!! i think today was the last time i am gonna see Pres. Galvez during the mission! He did such and awesome talk after we talked about the goals.. he is soooo awesome!!!!
   Thats sick you went to cheer camp Majerle... did you like it? Do you have any friends on the team? Maddi did you like trek? i bet it was so fun with Buck and Trish. Tell me what you learned!!! Thats so awesome jake has been sober for 1 year!! I saw his long hair!! That is soooo funny! I loved the video of them... i miss papa and nana soo much!! Thats so cool that Joe and Lisa are doing good!! I love hearing about them!! I cant believe he bought a lab.. thats awesome.. joey has always wanted a dog!! Now hes just gotta train it to go duck huntin!!
  Thats cool you guys got to teach that class mom and dad! I bet the teenagers love you guys!! Do you think you guys are gonna get called to teach it when dad gets released or do you think that dad will be called to be Bishop or Stake President? haha I wonder what calling im gonna have when i get back?? i want to be president of the nursery!! Thatd be sick! haha
 So the catalog that you order how big is it? cuz the one i saw and read was like as big as the bible... make sure its that one!! That has guns and bows and archery stuff... everything.. :) Hey and maybe you could send me the newest Hoyt Bow Catalog... thatd be sick also!! And you never answered me about the picture of the family in grandmas house.... are you guys ignoring me?? Also i have some cool hotels that would be good for the trip.. just look them up and tell me what you think....

 I found a tourist book for Costa Rica in the new house that we are living in and it had some pictures and discriptions about these places.. i dont know though... check them out and tell me what you think... they looked pretty cool to me.. but also you need to talk the the travel agents and the members in the ward to see what they think also!! Get it planned baby!!
   So there is this Elder here, his name is Elder Miller.. hes from west jordan. His in my zone and hes a hunter too, he loves it and were pretty chill now. We have some plans for after the mish, imma teach him how to bow hunt, and he teaches me how to duck hunt.. Hes a duck hunting finatic! He usually hunts elk with black powder rifle, but he wants to switch to bow. Hes way sick.. hes in the new picture that i sent with us two and the bulldog! We were both thinkin about goin down to SUU to study... just for the Harvest Festival to have vacation time to hunt. Hey... question.... is there any way i can go to school during the summer months so i can have hunting season completly free?? Im sure there is some way to be able to do that!! You should find out mom!
   You guys have some homework to do!!!...
         - Send me the Picture of our family that is in grandmas house(Mom)
         - Look up these Hotels and tell me which one you guys choose! (Dad and Mom)
        - Send me the Cabelas Catalog!!! when should it be here?(mom)
         - Get out and spot deer and elk for this deer/elk season in august! (Dad and Buck)
  I think thats pretty much it! How is the rest of the family, how are the Hansens. And the Makanoas, and Brennan and Tonya, and everyone?? I miss everyone so much!!!

Hey family!! whats up!!
 So I had changes... yes dad change meetings are always on Mondays haha...I was sad to leave turrialba... I loved that area.. but I wanna go back there when we are on our trip!! So now I'm in an area called La Loma. Its kinda in San Jose. I got made Zone Leader, so that's pretty cool. This zone is huge though.. there are 3 districts and like 18 missionaries. My comps name is Elder Velasquez.. he's from Honduras.. he seems really cool! I'm just excited tho to be zone leader. It should be way fun!
 So I got my package! Thanks a lot!! the only thing is when I got it, it was all wet with shampoo!! one of the shampoo bottles exploded and the magazines got soaked and the jerky and stuff.. 2 of the bags of jerky had a ton of mold on them and stuff, but the other 2 were fine, in fact I ate one bag, and shared half of the other with other missionaries and then gave the other half of the bag to President Galvez! Last week President called me in the morning one day and invited me and my comp to lunch at his house, I was way excited. We got there and talked with sister Galvez for a bit waiting for President to get there and then he got there and we ate... the Sister Galvez had made BBQ ribs for us and mashed potatoes and stuff... a HUGE feast!! And we ate lunch with President and Sister Galvez and one of their daughters.. it was really fun!! He invited us there cuz we baptised 2 families that month. It was good to spend some quality time with him before he leaves. The whole time ALL we talked about was hunting... hahah funny huh!! President was so interested and so was his wife, they asked me a bunch of questions about it, it was fun, and I told them that you had sent some Elk Jerky so that they could try it! That's why I gave them a bag of it today at transfers meeting!
  This transfer meeting was really weird today, cuz it is the last one with President Galvez!! It was SOOO awesome!! We watched a video that all the missionaries had made for him saying goodbye and stuff and it was cool. Then he talked about President Wilkinson a little bit and he told us about his family. Then he explained  a ton about his own life and the story of when he received the calling to be the president of the mission 3 years ago! And then their whole family bore their final testimonies and it was sooo cool!! Then their family got in a line in front so that we could go and do a line and say goodbye to every missionary! It was a really cool day.. I'm so sad that he is leaving tho!! The testimonies from Presidents kids were so awesome!! All they talked about was how good of a dad President is and how the mission has changed all of their lives soo much!! It was cool! The new President gets here in like 2 weeks... I don't know if you guys already missed the farewell or not?? cuz he said that the new president enters the MTC this next Saturday or something!! You should find out when it is or if it already happened!
 Mom I'm glad you had such a good birthday!! I love you!! And I bet your talk in church was awesome! Happy FATHERS day yesterday dad!!! I love you a ton!!!
  Hey the catalog that you sent wasn't the right one... it only had like some things that cabelas sells... it didn't have everything! What I wanted was the Master Catalog, that has every little thing that is there at cabelas.. its like as thick as the bible!! You should ask buck what it looks like, cuz when me and him went hunting in Trisha's cousins cabin there was one there and it was huge!! The one that you guys sent didn't even have shotguns or pistols or rifles or archery stuff... nothing haha maybe you could go to cabelas and get that for me please :) Oh and do you know what picture I was talking about in grandmas house? the one with all the fam in the mountains? If you could take that to a copy center and have it photocopied and send it to me by email.. that would be awesome!! :) I really want that picture!!
  So that's good the girls are busy these days!! That's a good thing that efy was strict.. them girls need some structure!! I cant believe majerle is a cheer leader... hahah classic!! that's funny that you thought it was Costa Rica playing there in salt lake mom... haha I cant believe that!
  So in 2 months the deer season starts? how long in the general season?? When are you guys gonna go up there to go spottin? you have to go before the season starts to be able to get ready!! why did you spend money on a smoker when you coulda bought a new bow, or some better binoculars?? You gotta get your priorities straight dad! haha I wanna go on a guided hunt when I get back.. so where do you think we should go? Montana? Colorado? or we could go there in Utah with Mossback Outfitters? I wanna get a trophy elk!!
 Any news on the Costa Rican trip? have you planned it yet?? I haven't written Joe and Lisa or Papa and Nana for forever!! i feel sooooo bad! I don't have time today but next week I'm gonna try and write them!!! Its just 1 hour of writing time is soooo short!!!
  Well that's pretty much all that's goin on here in the mish... gotta send me some more pics and stuff.. Try and get me the pic of the family and grandmas house! And I don't know if you could get the other Catalog from cabelas.. but I would really really really like it! :)

Hola familia!! todo tuanis?  HAPPPPYY BIRTHDAY yesterday MOM!!!! I LOVE YOU!!

  Im doin really well.. here working hard. We babtised a 23 year old last saturday! It was a fun babtism... he is from Nicaragua... im pretty sure that all the people here are from there cuz practically all my recent converts are from there haha classic!! This saturday we should have a family getting babtised... they are all ready and way excited its just were waiting on his divorce papers to get here... last sunday we fasted with them and there kids so that they would get the papers.. so we will see if they can get babtised this week or the next... the only problem is i dont know if im gonna be here in turrialba next week cuz changes are on the 18th... i probably will have changes but i hope not... it could happen that i dont so im praying!! The family that just got babtised a couple weeks ago are really good... the wife just got assigned her companion and stuff to be a visiting teacher, she got assinged to visit teach her mom and another family... but she was soooo excited!! We heard from a member that she was going on and on just about how happy she was to recieve a calling of some sort... cuz shes never felt like she was worth something or had a purpose in life before until she recieved that calling... i was really happy to here how happy the gospel is making her!!

  I dont know where i would be sent to if i have changes... that is gonna be weird.. cuz ill probably go somewhere really really hot and i dont want to! haha Those videos were really sick!! thanks for sending them dad! I dont have very much time today... so i gotta write quick!! but do you know how many days they said it would take for the package to get there? Thanks for the package, i hope i get it soon!! PAPA HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALSO!! I LOVE YOU!

 Well i gotta go really quick... we have to go to san jose cuz were gonna have a conference with two elders of the seventy! Elder Martino, and Elder something i forgot what his name is! but it should be good! love you guys tons! Say hi to papa and nana, and joe and lisa, and jake and tyler, and the sisters, and grandma, the cousins, and buck and trish.... everyone!!! love you guys!!
