The dreaded MTC drop off day
This is the day that I thought I was ready for. The MTC drop off day. We are standing in front of the Mimi's in Provo. We chose that because it was right next to the Missionary Mall where we needed to pick up some last few things. I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason, it our job to find out why. We had a awesome experience in Mimis where we were seated in a room all to our own. My family has a great love for Polynesian people. (In fact Cole was hoping to be called to Tonga) The waiter happened to be Polynesian. His name was Sal Salanoa. In the course of the meal we found out that he grew up with our Hawaiian cousin. What are the odds? Sal served a Spanish mission. At the end of our meal, Sal sang to Cole a Spanish song called the blessing. It was beautiful! He said that we are now family. It was a great start to a beautiful day.

letter to mom
Love You so much mom! there has been times where i have been sooo homesick, but its getting better!! before i left i printed out a picture of my dream ranch in Iowa.. i look at this from time to time.. and every time i do i just get motivated to keep working hard. i feel like im progressing in espanol!! so it bien!! I think it would be easier at least while im in the MTC if you tell everyone to mostly use Dear ELder to send letters, so that way i can spend more time writing back in my 30 minutes that i get to email!! but thanks for all the packages and what not!! tell mi hermanas that i love em. and i love you guys a ton! :)

Hola Padre y Madre, Yeah mi companero is muy bien!! hes a way cool kid! so far i know of 5 people headed to Costa Rica! but my companion is headed to Honduras. the food is alright but you know.. whatever!! In gym my and my companions have been play a lota volleyball!! so its awesome, lovin it! The Hermana missionary is from Riverton and shes headed to Chili! I would LOVE it if you guys send me some Elk Jerky!! por favor! I feel like im progressing well in the Espanol so im way excited!! And thanks for the letter, it did help and Enos is a great story, i like it because enos was out HUNTING!! but you should send me the mailing addresses of like nana and papa and joe and lisa and other people,,, cause on p days i literally only have 30 minutes to email!! so it would help to be able to send letters to other peole!!
